We're currently unable to ship to Israel, Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. For orders outside the UK, EU and US, local customs duties or taxes may apply on delivery and are the customer's responsibility.

Return policy

Returns & exchanges

We want you to be sure of your Afeard piece. If it isn't right, you have 14 days from delivery to start a return.

Starting a return
Sign in to your account at afeard.com, open your order and select "Request return." Once we've approved it, we'll email you a prepaid returns label and instructions. Send the piece back, free of charge, and we'll take it from there.

Condition
Items must be unworn and in their original condition, with all tags attached and the original packaging. Please take care to avoid aftershave or scent when trying pieces on. We can only accept items that come back in a resaleable state.

Refunds
Once your return reaches us and passes a quick check, we'll refund your original payment method within 10 working days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return postage is on us — we'll send a prepaid label, so sending your piece back is always free.

Exchanges
For a different size in the same piece, choose "Exchange" when you request your return. For anything else, return the original and place a new order.

Faulty or incorrect items
If a piece arrives faulty, or we've sent the wrong item, contact us through the Contact page and we'll put it right at no cost to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Made to order
Any bespoke or hand-finished pieces are made individually and can't be returned or exchanged. This will always be made clear at the point of purchase.

Import Charges

IMPORT DUTY EU & US

For orders shipped to the EU and the US, we send them with duty paid (DDP - Delivered Duty Paid), meaning there are no extra charges for import duties or VAT upon delivery.

For orders shipped outside the UK, EU, and US, this may trigger a customs inspection, depending on the destination country’s regulations. We always provide the correct paperwork with your order. However, customs authorities may apply import duties, VAT, or other charges, which are beyond our control.

We cannot guarantee how long customs clearance will take, as this varies by country. Please note that you are responsible for paying any applicable import charges imposed by your local customs authorities.

NON EU & US IMPORT DUTY

Please note that the customers will always be responsible for paying any import bills they may receive.

In the event that any orders are undelivered due to incorrect details provided by the customer, it will be the customer that is responsible for payment of redelivery.

When importing items to outside of the UK, this will always incur a customs inspection which we always provide the correct paperwork for. We cannot be held responsible for how long it takes your order to pass through customs.

Undelivered Items

In the event that your order cannot be delivered, due to incorrect information or missed deliveries these orders will be returned to us at the courier services discretion. Once your order has been returned to us you will be contacted. Customers are responsible for any additional shipping charges for redelivery.

Discounts & Credit

All credit and discount offers are applied to the value of the order, excluding delivery costs, and are subject to our Terms & Conditions. Unless specifically stated, discounts cannot be combined, or applied consecutively to the same order; this includes any promotional or site-wide events such as Black Friday. Some exclusions may apply to selected products and collections, which will be stated clearly.Discount offers may only be applicable to specific items / collections, and cannot be extended to other product range.Please note that any items purchased using store credit are only eligible for size exchange or further credit replenishment. This excludes shipping fees, as they must be covered with each new order. Any store credit generated is set to expire a year from the date they are issued, unless specifically stated otherwise.Store credit and discount vouchers may only have one use per code, and cannot be replenished unless specifically stated.Any credit used to make an order will be replenished if the items purchased are returned and not exchanged. Please note that discount codes cannot be replenished after a return is processed.

We reserve the right to cancel any order that is believed to be fraudulent / an abuse of a discount code.

Bespoke items

Items that are hand finished or subject to a manual process that produces a bespoke garment are not eligible for returns or exchange. Discounts cannot be applied to these limited collection items, unless clearly stated, purely to benefit those behind these projects. All sales on these items are final.
